Know exactly what you mean about feeling like you benefit other people more than you benefit yourself. It's a double edged sword though - 'cause it always turns out that the more you help others, the bigger the benefit.
Being a reformed (mostly) enabler - I've found that it's mostly about clarity and positioning. Oh and finding ways to leverage the stuff that you already do well so that your effect and impact are magnified - HUGE.
'Course I have this other stumbling block called - too many soup pots only so many hands - lol. But I'm getting better :)
